Dodamarg a taluka place at Southern end of Sindhudurg District, has beautiful rural surroundings significant from tourism point of view. Kasainath hill is situated in Dodamarg village. It's the highest hill in Dodamarg. This place is very useful for tracking. However many tourist and local people do visit this place only during 'Shravan' (Hindu) month. The significance of this place is the 'Linga' which is situated at the highest peak of this hill. You can observe cool and scenic beauty of this place. There is all greenary every where of this place. A waterfall flows down from the top of the hill. It takes around 2 and half hours to reach the highest point of this hill. There is also a temple at the footstep of this hill. Thus, this hill resembles the heaven on earth.
